


Mr. Claps is responsible for the qualitative and quantitative analyses of all investment requests. His duties include the structuring, modeling and underwriting of client investments, as well as performing due diligence and surveillance analysis. Mr. Claps has over seven years of broad investment banking experience, most recently as a Research Analyst at Piper Jaffray & Co., where he covered the medical device sector. Prior to joining Piper Jaffray & Co., Mr. Claps was a member of Deloitte & Touche's Corporate Finance practice where he advised middle-market companies on mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions. In addition to his financial experience, Mr. Claps pursued three years of post-graduate studies in Medicine at New Jersey Medical School, where he directly participated in providing patient care. Mr. Claps earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and holds an MBA with concentration in Finance from New York University, as well as a
